The XX have posted a demo of a song off their new album.
—The Weeknd-XO The Host
Great song from The Weeknd’s new record that was released this past week (as a free download no less). You can find it here:

Glasser - Apply
CD was on a 2010 Best of List I was browsing last night, gave it a shot and I was not disappointed. ”Ring” is a great album and I am really digging this song. Had the whole thing on repeat since last night.
Massive Attack - Paradise Circus (Zed’s Dead Remix)
Saw this song attached to a very… interesting video. Wish I could drive up to Whistler in a sweet GTI blasting this song. Love the original, Love the Remix. I’m sure it’s not everyones cup of tea but I have to mix it up every once in awhile.
An Horse - Company
Seems fitting right now.
Moving to Mars - Coldplay
Over the past week I’ve been listening to the new Coldplay EP trying to figure out what their new CD might sound like. It’s hard to say based off the 3 songs on the EP since they all seem to vary quite a bit in their style. I have to say though that my favourite is “Moving to Mars”. It has an earlier Coldplay vibe to it which I’m enjoying a lot more than I did most of the songs on Viva La Vida. Hopefully I’ll get to hear more like it on the new CD when it is released.
—Trust Issues (Remix)
The Weeknd - “Trust Issues”
Once again, Pitchfork has provided me with another song that is on repeat an awful lot. Not all the credit can go to them however as the younger brother did have some hand in the finding of this song. While I don’t much care for Drake, am I starting to get into The Weeknd. Time will tell if The Weeknd stays in my regular rotation, but it’s nice to have some Slow Jams close by right now.
